Welcome

Hello,

My name is Tom. I have been in sales for over a decade. I have been an Account Executive, Account Manager, Sales Manager, and a Director of Sales. I have worked for Small Businesses, Fortune 500, Fortune 100, Fortune 10, and Fortune 5 companies. I have been a sales rep, a mentor, a trainer, a manager, and a leader.

For all of this time, I had a secret, my secret is that I am an introvert. Being an introvert, I didn’t feel like getting up in front of large crowds to share my advice, so I decided to set up this site to provide advice, information, strategies, systems, and resources for Business Owners to evaluate their current sales approach and to help other sales professionals improve their craft to build the career they want.

Most people think that to be successful in sales, or any career where you are in front of people making deals, you have to be an extrovert. That is not the case. Recently, there have been several studies that indicate that in most cases, Introverts are more successful in sales than extroverts for several reasons. The biggest reason I noticed I was more successful than the extroverts around me was because my ego didn’t get as big when I won a deal, and I didn’t get crushed when a deal was lost.  Ego, is one main advantage that introverts have.

There are several other reasons, and I will discuss those on this site and also provide advice on how to pick a job that is right for you. How to identify what sales organizations work best for introvert (or extroverts for that matter) and sound strategies and systems that will create the sales career you want.

Feel free to explore all the sections of this site. There is a page for Business Owners to learn more about sound sales strategies and the role they play in successful sales in the organization. There is a page just for Sales Professionals to learn how be the best at what you do and ways to systematize your career for unparalleled success.

Best Wishes,

Tom
